Pretty Things Baby Tree Quad Growlers (8/11)
Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project is brand new to our state, and we are ecstatic that we finally have access to their beer! Dan and Martha Paquette moved to New England from Old England and brought their taste for well-executed and balanced styles with them. This Tuesday (8/11) we will put on our keg of Baby Tree Quadruple for growler fills @ 5pm! We did not receive any bottles of this beer so the growler is the only way we can offer it! Their Quadruple, traditionally the strongest and most luxuriously wine-like beer an abbey would produce, benefits from the addition of dried California plums. The sugar from these plums is consumed by the Belgian yeast, drying out the finish and making the beer highly drinkable. If you're a fan of Chimay Grand Reserve (blue label) or St. Bernardus Abt. 12, this beer is for you!
