Southbound Picture of Nectar Growlers!!! (11/3)
This Tuesday (11/3) @5pm we will put our only small keg of Southbound Brewing’s Picture of Nectar Double IPA for growler fills!!  This 9.3% abv. beer boasts 90 IBUs and is brewed with Magnum, Simcoe, Centennial, and Cascade hops.  Accompanying the explosive aromas of citrus are notes of stone fruits  (nectarines) and elderflower.  Both of which are added during the brewing process!  Double IPAs usually have a short shelf life here in the store, so be sure to get here at 5pm sharp! 

Edmund’s Oast Beer School!!! (11/18) 
Edmund’s Oast will once again launch there popular Beer School series for the fall. Led by Brandon Plyler, manager at The Charleston Beer Exchange and a Certified Cicerone, the series will take place on the third Wednesday of each month.

November 18: Angels vs. Demons: This class will explore the peculiar relationship that Belgian brewing has with both Heaven and Hell.We will examine the tradition of monastic brewing and how that manifests itself today with the Trappist designation. Are the secular abbey-style beers as good as the monastic examples?  We will also take a look into the Belgian tradition of incorporating the Devil into their beer marketing and the Belgian love of strong beer.
