IPA Double-Header: Elysian Space Dust & Sixpoint PUFF (5/24)

This  Tuesday (5/24) we will be tapping two double IPAs brand new to the Charleston market!

Elysian Brewing Company’s Space Dust IPA, straight out of Seattle, WA, is an excellent dry example of the style featuring bursts of Citra and Amarillo hops!   We will not have bottles of this beer for some time, so bring your growlers!

Also on tap will be Sixpoint Brewery’s brand new PUFF Double IPA.  This is a slightly stronger version of their Resin Double IPA that is hazy and unfiltered, as if it was poured right off the tank!  Double dry-hopping gives this beer an even more explosive hop aroma than normal Resin. These two are sure to excite any hophead, so be sure to get down to the store @ 5pm!!

Edmund’s Oast Beer School!!! (6/15)

Edmund’s Oast will once again launch their popular Beer School series on the third Wednesday of every month. Led by Brandon Plyler, manager at The Charleston Beer Exchange and a Certified Cicerone, the focus for June 15 is Not So Sour. Sour Beer is not a style or really even a category of beer. Often super sour beers are what super fans crave. But, intense acidity turns off some folks new to these beers. For this class, we will feature beers that have a lighter touch of acidity to really give anyone a good taste of what is so exciting about sours!  Buy Tickets Here.
