Westbrook Mexican Cake Growlers!!! (5pm) 6/7

Westbrook Mexican Cake Growlers!!! (6/7)
This Tuesday (6/7) we will be tapping our only keg of Westbrook’s highly sought after Mexican Cake Imperial Stout.  If you don’t already know this is a once a year released stout that is brewed with cocao nibs, vanilla beans,  cinnamon sticks . and habanero peppers. The demand for this beer is fairly robust, so you’ll want to get here close to 5pm with your growlers!  *Limits: we are setting a 64oz limit on this beer, that can be in one 64 oz growler or two 32oz growlers.*

We need your 6-pack holders!

Recycling used cardboard 6-pack holders is great, but reusing them is even better!!!  We’re running low, and we know a lot of you out there graciously save them for us to reuse, so now is the time to bring them on down to CBX!!!  Thank you very much to all our regulars who help us save the environment and keep us stocked on these valuable commodities!!!

Edmund’s Oast Beer School!!! (6/15)

Edmund’s Oast will once again launch their popular Beer School series on the third Wednesday of every month. Led by Brandon Plyler, manager at The Charleston Beer Exchange and a Certified Cicerone, the focus for June 15 is Not So Sour.Sour Beer is not a style or really even a category of beer. Often super sour beers are what super fans crave. But, intense acidity turns off some folks new to these beers. For this class, we will feature beers that have a lighter touch of acidity to really give anyone a good taste of what is so exciting about sours!
