We have always loved the Brewmaster’s Reserve series from Brooklyn Brewing.  This draft only portfolio features more experimental brewing concepts from a very small batch production.  Just released into the world is Bel Air Sour!  Brooklyn has  cultivated a strain of house lactobacillus to provide the sharp acidity and added copious amounts of Amarillo hops in the dry-hopping stage for big citrus-pineapple aroma. This Tuesday (6/21) we will tap our only keg of this deliciously bright sour  beer @ 5pm sharp!

Edmund’s Oast Beer School!!! (6/15)

Edmund’s Oast will once again launch their popular Beer School series on the third Wednesday of every month. Led by Brandon Plyler, manager at The Charleston Beer Exchange and a Certified Cicerone, the focus for June 15 is Not So Sour.Sour Beer is not a style or really even a category of beer. Often super sour beers are what super fans crave. But, intense acidity turns off some folks new to these beers. For this class, we will feature beers that have a lighter touch of acidity to really give anyone a good taste of what is so exciting about sours!
