Rare Beer Tuesday, New Arrivals and Special Events!

Great news just keeps on coming from The Charleston Beer Exchange!  Here is the latest for your perusal pleasure:

Rare Beer Tuesday (7/20)
As we do every Tuesday at 5pm, we’ll be tapping something super-extra-special on the growler station!  This week, we are extremely excited to announce the second, and final, appearance of one of our most unique "RBT" offerings to date:  Brooklyn Buzz Bomb!  That’s right, due to overwhelming popular demand, this extremely limited, draft only beer will be making an encore appearance only at CBX!  A dramtically perfect summer creation, Brooklyn Brewery created Buzz Bomb using fine wildflour honey and finishing with an 8% ABV.  Since honey is highly fermentable, the beer is not at all sweet.  "Brooklyn Buzz Bomb has a bright gold color and a spicy floral aroma showing distinctive honey notes. The palate is light, crisp, and very dry, showing a zing of acidity and a quick burst of fruit. Complex floral, honey and spice flavors linger in the bone-dry finish. Brooklyn Buzz Bomb is a perfect match for summer foods…It’s also very pleasant all by itself."

Guerrilla Cuisine Book Signing (Tuesday 7/20)
Right after our "Rare Beer Tuesday" release, we’ll be hosting Jimihatt of Guerrilla Cuisine from 6pm to 8pm for a book signing.  He’ll have books and shirts available for purchase at special discounted rates for Charleston Beer Exchange Club members.  For more info about the new book, see this article from City Paper.
